Application Tips for Titan Mirror
Titan Mirror is composed of materials which are "laser friendly", thereby providing the ability to engrave with virtually no smoke residue, no yellowing of core, and no melting of graphics in most instances. Below are trouble-shooting tips to help prepare you as to what to expect from our laser engraving experience with Titan Mirror.

Vector Cutting Titan Mirror
Titan Mirror recommends that you use a honeycomb vector cutting table to ensure the best results with Titan Mirror. When vector cutting, leave the clear masking on during this process.  Vector cut with the mylar side up.  Because of the strength of our metalized poly backing applied to all Titan Mirror, you do not need to lay anything under it.  Other leading competitors require the use of paper under the mirror to prevent tick marks that are created on the mirror while vector cutting, which is a known fire hazard.

Raster Engraving Titan Mirror
When raster engraving, leave the clear masking on and place the material face down in the laser to protect the mirrored surface. Raster on the mylar side.

Make sure your image is reveresed when rastering so that when you look at the mirror side, the image is the proper way up.

Combining Raster Engraving and Vector Cutting Steps
If you combine vector and raster engraving in the same process, first raster engrave and then vector cut with the clear masking on, face down. This is the same as placing the mylar side face up. Also refer to the Vector Cutting section for additional instructions.

Make sure the material is laying as flat as possible in the bed of the laser. In order to avoid the material from bowing up when cutting, tape down the corners of the material to the bed of the laser prior to cutting.

Cleaning and Care Instructions
To assure a like new appearance, clean Titan Mirror with a MicroFiber Cloth with mild(dish) soap and water as needed.
